Bhubaneswar: “No Culprit Will Escape Justice,” Declares Odisha CM

In a high-level meeting with key ministers at Lok Seva Bhawan, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi issued a firm directive, stating that anyone found guilty, regardless of their status, will face strict consequences. The statement was made in response to the ongoing mass leave by Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers, triggered by the recent assault on the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Additional Commissioner.

Transport Minister Bibhuti Jena reiterated the Chief Minister’s stance, confirming that decisive action will be taken against those involved in the attack. “All perpetrators will be apprehended and held accountable,” he stated, emphasizing the government’s commitment to justice.

The Chief Minister also expressed confidence in resolving the OAS officers’ agitation soon, addressing the disruptions caused by their protest across various departments. The meeting, attended by ministers including Sampad Swain, Nityananda Gond, Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia, and Suryabanshi Suraj, focused on finding solutions to restore normalcy in government operations.
